Rep. Adam Schiff: Can you believe what Trump tweeted on the 1st Amendment? Also Rep. Adam Schiff: OVERTURN CITIZENS UNITED RIGHT NOW!

Listen, there’s no defending this tweet, but…

With all of the Fake News coming out of NBC and the Networks, at what point is it appropriate to challenge their License? Bad for country!

— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) October 11, 2017

…but we will not be lectured to by First Amendment softies like Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA):

At what point are we going to silence media critical of the President? When we cease to have a First Amendment and a democratic government. https://t.co/w0ljOUkM7u

Especially since Schiff is one of the loudest critics of the First Amendment SCOTUS case, Citizens United vs. FEC:

SCOTUS decision is a grave disappointment. They should have revisited #CitizensUnited. Constitutional amendment all the more necessary #p2

Angelenos came out strong for #PropC yesterday. It’s time that Congress act to restore our democratic process and overturn #CitizensUnited.

5 years after #CitizensUnited released a deluge of secret and unlimited campaign contributions we must #GetMoneyOut #CU5

And that he even wants to amend the Constitution over it:

Just introduced a constitutional amendment to overturn #CitizensUnited and restore confidence in our elections. pic.twitter.com/ELWbO97ag8
