Kamala Harris is a fake and a phony. That much is obvious.
But I am going to say some more things about Harris that should be equally obvious. She is strange and disappointing. She is messy. She fell short as Vice President. In fact, her entire vice presidency was a fiasco.
Now, you may say, 'Calvin, that is pretty harsh, don't you think?'
It's true. It is very harsh. Now, what if I told you that I am not the one saying those things about her? What if I told you that those words all came from Joe Biden's White House?
Yes, since the Democrats coronated Harris a couple of weeks ago, Twitter has been busy digging up ALL kinds of Harris quotes that show that she is a socialist, probably a sociopath, and entirely unqualified for the position she now holds, let alone the only position in government that exists above that.
And it's not just conservatives who know it.
This morning, Marco Rubio's former chief of staff, Alberto Martinez, posted a devastating thread, not because it exposes Harris's inadequacies, but because of who exposed those inadequacies.
"strange and disappointing" "messy" "uneven" "fiasco" "fallen short."

That's not Trump describing Kamala Harris.
That's how Joe Biden and the Biden White House described her, according to a 2022 book co-written by the head of news at Politico.
🧵
The book in question here is This Will Not Pass: Trump, Biden, and the Battle for America’s Future, written by Politico's politics chief Johnathan Martin, and Alex Burns of the New York Times. It is an examination of the 2020 election, and very critical of Republicans and Donald Trump, but it is also a look inside the Biden White House ... where it was clear that no one had any respect for Harris.
Martinez's thread continues in devastating fashion:
Everyone has seen the now infamous clip of Kamala embarrassingly failing to defend her decision to not visit the border during the worst immigration crisis in American history. pic.twitter.com/RPo2E27djI

Not as well known, and what the book captures, is that the Biden White House was embarrassed by Kamala’s performance as well. Kamala’s performance was seen as “strange and disappointing” and White House aides wondered if the Vice President was “just a very uneven performer?” pic.twitter.com/OralEIFQLT

LOL. An 'uneven performer.' That doesn't sound like someone you want sitting at the Resolute Desk. We've had one of those for the past four years.
Also, take note of the attempt to blame her staff. That didn't hold up under scrutiny. At least not under the scrutiny from Biden's communications director, Kate Bedingfield.
Kamala defends herself today against accusations that she was the “Border Czar” by saying she was in charge of “root causes.” But her most visible effort on addressing “root causes” – a trip to Central America – was viewed as a failure by the Biden White House.

The “root causes” trip was such a failure that senior Biden White House aides conceded privately that Harris had "fallen short" and the problem was not Harris's staff but the Vice President herself. pic.twitter.com/lADilIKRf3

Of course, as we fast forward to 2024, Bedingfield has disavowed these comments.
Uh-huh. Sure, Kate. Nice try, but even Biden's chief of staff Ron Klain knew the truth about Harris.
Contrary to media reporting when the “Border Czar” flap re-emerged, Kamala's entire handling of her immigration portfolio was a failure. So much so, Biden’s own White House Chief of Staff, Ron Klain, told Kamala to her face that she “erred” by not working harder on immigration. pic.twitter.com/60rTRtSg7r

Other reports from inside Harris's disaster of a team note that the border is not the only thing she 'didn't work hard on.' She doesn't work hard on anything, even blowing off many of her briefings and then yelling at her staff for how unprepared she always is.
Even Joe Biden got frustrated with the dysfunction of Kamala Harris and the Vice President's operation, despite knowing full well when he chose her that she was not as qualified or competent as other potential picks. pic.twitter.com/Bc2uvj0bvp

OUCH. Even the mentally damaged President Biden knew how bad she was.
This is how prominent news reporters were reporting on Kamala's record as Vice President, right up until she became the Democratic nominee for President.

'Kamala is horrible at her job' has been erased in favor of 'Kamala is brat.' Or something.
And this was not just one book that was saying this about Harris. Twitchy readers will know The Atlantic as probably one of the most left-leaning publications in existence. I can't count how many times Twitchy has lampooned The Atlantic for carrying water for all Democrats (as long as they are far-left enough).
Yet, in November 2023, less than one year ago, The Atlantic published an article called 'The Kamala Harris Problem.' The article recounts how Harris was so bad, Biden had to publicly assure people that she was indeed a part of his administration:
Her first year on the job was defined by rhetorical blunders, staff turnover, political missteps, and a poor sense among even her allies of what, exactly, constituted her portfolio. Within months of taking office, President Joe Biden was forced to confront a public perception that Harris didn’t measure up; ultimately, the White House issued a statement insisting that Biden did, in fact, rely on his vice president as a governing partner. But Harris’s reputation has never quite recovered.
OOF.
But after nearly three years in office, the symbolic fact of Harris’s position has proved more resonant than anything she has actually done with it. From almost the beginning, Harris’s vice presidency has unfolded in a series of brutal headlines: “Exasperation and Dysfunction: Inside Kamala Harris’ Frustrating Start as Vice President” (CNN, November 2021). “A Kamala Harris Staff Exodus Reignites Questions About Her Leadership Style—And Her Future Ambitions” (The Washington Post, December 2021). “New Book Says Biden Called Harris a ‘Work in Progress’ ” (Politico, December 2022). “Kamala Harris Is Trying to Define Her Vice Presidency. Even Her Allies Are Tired of Waiting” (The New York Times, February 2023).
OOF, OOF, OOF, and OOOOOF.
Again, look at the sources. These are Democrats saying these things, not conservatives.
Yet here we are.
This morning, stock markets crashed and Iran has been threatening war, not to mention all of the other problems that have continued to plague America under the Biden-Harris administration, like inflation, crime, and an overrun border.
And Kamala Harris -- the person the media was trashing as unserious and incompetent less than a year ago -- is the same person that they are now trying to gaslight everyone into believing is up to facing challenges like that. Even though she thinks 'the cloud' is something that lives above us in the sky.
They want us to forget what their own side said about her for the past four years.
We cannot forget. And we cannot let them forget.
Democrats and their media lapdogs felt free to speak the truth about Harris before it became obvious even to them that Biden was too cognitively impaired to run for re-election. They were forced into accepting Harris, like everyone was, without a single voter casting a ballot for her.
When the media embraced that, they disgraced themselves (again).
Always make them remember what they really thought about Harris when nothing was at stake.
Especially now that everything is at stake.
