RATIO: Kim Iversen hopes for teen pregnancy in an ultra-derpy feat of pro-abortion 'logic'

Radio host, Kim Iversen, received a well-deserved Twitter ratio for her super hot take on abortion and teen pregnancy. Iversen’s tortured logic goes something like this: If the killing of unborn human beings is so bad (abortion) that you oppose it, then teen pregnancy has to be good.

Yowzers. Give us a second while we face palm. Seriously, you know when a train of thought is so bad it’s almost physically painful? This is one of those times.

Let’s walk through the thread. (Apply constant pressure to your temples. It helps a little.)

Iversen begins with what looks like some good old-fashioned meanness.

‘Hey, don’t like killing tiny humans, I hope your teenager gets knocked up!’

She’s super serious, folks, but she’s not being mean, so ‘don’t you dare even!’

Push a little harder on those temples … here it comes …

Let’s just take a moment to bask in the glory of the terribleness of this ‘logic’.

Kim Iversen’s Twitter bio ends with ‘I think therefore I am’.

Am what?

According to Iversen, it’s ‘completely illogical’ to think killing babies is bad and teenagers having babies is bad. We said it would be painful.

Let’s run this logical lunacy into the metaphorical iceberg, shall we?

‘You can’t oppose killing 3-year-olds AND think it’s bad to have teenagers raising 3-year-olds!’

Literally the same logic.

We suppose being logically inconsistent all the time is being consistent.

Life is a wonderful thing, and its value is not predicated on whether you find it inconvenient.

Thanks for the clarification that ‘teenagers’ includes 19-year-olds though.

Don’t mind if we do!

Yep, you guessed it, Twitter users thought Iverson’s thread was ridiculous too.

They always skip that step when making arguments like this.

Unwanted pregnancy is the result of ‘my body, my bad choice’. Pregnancy isn’t just something that happens to you while strolling through Walmart.

That’s SO much harder than killing them though.

Mind. Blown.

LOL. Perfect.

It’s a good one, bro.

Now we’re talking. We’re pretty sure nobody ever argued that slavery should be permitted … but only for 15 weeks.

Some things are just evil.

LOL. This always tweaks them.

It wasn’t going well for Iversen, but she continued to cling to her crumbling contention.

It sounds ridiculous no matter how you reword it, Kim. LOL.

Exactly this. Our values aren’t based on personal inconvenience.

She said it so politely and succinctly. Points awarded!

There you go. Federalism is the national divorce we need.

LOL.

You know how you’re just reading through a crazy thread like this and then that one tweet just makes you laugh?

It was this one. LOL.

BOOM. Iverson did, however, present one of the best arguments we’ve seen challenging the stage of development at which brain activity begins.
