Trust in media has gone completely down the drain, but there are still many "journalists" who are determined to make it go even lower.
This week The New York Times performed a random act of actual journalism, but others are trying to make excuses for why the story shouldn't be covered anymore.
Because the media wants @MaryPeltola to win! Their lack of investigative work up until this week is one more reason why Americans’ trust in the media is near a record low. https://t.co/KZPZefGBHD

In an attempt to earn back some public trust, many "journalists" at CBS News were happy to oblige their boss's reported request to get on the Peltola/"Decoy Dan" story in Alaska.
Just kidding!
EXCLUSIVE: CBS News chief Bari Weiss faced “significant resistance” from staff at the network’s 9am meeting this morning while discussing the growing Alaska ballot scandal as she urged reporters to dig into the story, according to sources at the meeting. https://t.co/K79XGIqu1F

This is just about the most believable story of all time:
CBS News editor-in-chief Bari Weiss faced "significant resistance" from staff at Thursday's 9 a.m. meeting about the growing Alaska ballot controversy, network insiders told Fox News Digital.
"This is a scandal," Weiss declared to staff.
According to multiple sources on the call, several CBS News staffers pushed back at Weiss' enthusiasm over the bombshell New York Times report alleging Democrats schemed to find a Dan Sullivan to run against incumbent Republican Sen. Dan Sullivan, in hopes of aiding Democratic opponent Mary Peltola.
Nothing is surprising anymore, except that we can now see how it works in real time.
So….reporters were resisting investigating a major political scandal, uncovered by another outfit, on the eve of an election. And they think this makes Weiss look bad.

Many "journalists" really do see their jobs as being propagandists for the Democrats and they don't care who knows it.
Why is she having to "urge" reporters to do their jobs? It's either do it or you're fired.

Imagine how fast they'd have sprung into action if the scandal involved a Republican.
@JosephWulfsohn If the NYT can do it, CBS can do it

They just don't want to, apparently.
@JosephWulfsohn @CurtisHouck so they don’t want to be reporters, just propagandists..

Bingo!
