Uh oh, the Democrats are going to want to pack the Supreme Court even harder now!

Have you ever noticed that the media frames any ruling or law that makes it harder to illegally vote as a loss for Democrats and a win for Republicans? This spin is as predictable as the sun rising in the east.
In a win for Republicans, the Supreme Court said Thursday that student IDs cannot be used in New Hampshire for the midterm elections.
The justices granted an emergency request filed by the state, which had the backing of the Republican National Committee.
[...]
The brieft court order said a federal judge should not have ordered a change in voting rules so close to the Nov. 3 election, citing existing precedent on that point.
Fortunately there isn't anybody who thinks that a student ID, Costco membership card or any non-government issued piece of paper should be accepted as proof that somebody is legally allowed to vote in that particular state.
Just kidding!
It’s a “win” for the GOP because fewer people will be able to vote. It’s a loss for democracy.

"Democracy" being defined as "no need to verify eligibility to vote as long as it's benefitting Democrats."
The @gop wins by making it harder to vote Tells you all you need to know about Republicans

Why do republicans want to keep students from voting?
— Cricket's Ghost (@CricketsGh0st) October 23, 2026
This is why the 'just give in to the GOP on Voter ID' just does not work. They're not interested in securing our elections, only in disenfranchising Democratic constituencies.

It’s very telling that restricting the ability of eligible voters to vote is seen as a win for Republicans.

What's telling is how the Democrats want to count library cards, student IDs (or no ID at all) as valid forms of proving you're eligible to vote.
In case anybody wonders how so many people are duped into still voting for Democrats, all that helps explain how they do it.
@BreakingNews Number of foreign students in New Hampshire: 4,575 Number of votes Trump beat Hillary by in New Hampshire in 2016: 2,736

@BreakingNews Because these "students" aren't state residents.
— JWF (@JammieWF) October 23, 2026
that’s because students from out of state shouldn’t vote in NH elections.

The Democrats make it clear every day they want people who shouldn't be voting in our elections to be casting ballots and they need to be taught a lesson in the midterms.
