You probably remember a social media post from former FBI Director and seashell formation enthusiast James Comey early last year that has gotten him in some hot water with the DOJ.
Comey quickly said he deleted the post after having claimed to have just stumbled across "8647" written in shells on the sand.

Comey claimed to have just stumbled upon that and also had no idea what the message could mean at the time he posted it.
Fast forward more than a year, and a new DOJ filing has more information showing something that won't surprise you: Comey wasn't being honest.

That's the same former FBI director who was always trying to convince people that Trump's a liar.
