Former Chairman of the Democratic National Committee Jaime Harrison had a post on X that included this about some of the party's new crop of candidates: "I say this with no ill will or animosity: if you hate the Democratic Party, then please don’t run for our nomination."

I would add to that "if you hate America please don't run for political office, and while you're at it find somewhere else to live."
Senator Chris Murphy then shifted into "appease the socialist crazies" gear and responded to Harrison this way:
