The Trump Derangement Syndrome on the Left has caused the Democrats to come out in defense of violent crime in Washington, DC while attempting to prevent the deportation of criminal illegal aliens and oppose common sense measures like border security and enforcing federal immigration laws. There are many more examples but you get the point.
Oh, and the Dems also chose this guy to be Kamala Harris' running mate which was supposed to help shore up support for the party among swing state males:
One year ago today, the Democrats chose @Tim_Walz as Kamala’s running mate.

The Democratic Party is a rudderless, foundering ship at the moment and it's become clear that deciding not to be complete lunatics is not an option for turning that around.
The midterm elections are over a year away and lots could change, but as a snapshot to where things stand at the moment doesn't look good for the Dems in the long term:

This is in the New York Times, so you know it must be looking bad for the Democrats:
The Democratic Party is hemorrhaging voters long before they even go to the polls.
Of the 30 states that track voter registration by political party, Democrats lost ground to Republicans in every single one between the 2020 and 2024 elections — and often by a lot.
That four-year swing toward the Republicans adds up to 4.5 million voters, a deep political hole that could take years for Democrats to climb out from.
The stampede away from the Democratic Party is occurring in battleground states, the bluest states and the reddest states, too, according to a new analysis of voter registration data by The New York Times. The analysis used voter registration data compiled by L2, a nonpartisan data firm.
Instead of deciding to not embrace completely insane policies, the Democrats opted to try and import more voters by the millions via Biden's open border. That now explains the Left's meltdowns over Trump's deportations and secure border.

The Republican ground game is much better these days, and this is part of the Democrat ground game:

If Trump wants to end the fighting, then yes, the Dems want to continue the fighting (mostly because they and their families aren't the ones dying), all because "Orange Man Bad."
Instead of facing reality it seems that the Dems are now setting the stage for saying the midterm elections were rigged against them in case they don't win back the House and/or Senate next November.
Even Fox can’t hide the truth.

And we wonder why he’s trying to rig the next election? pic.twitter.com/Q5hGcLUTqG
Not surprisingly, "questioning the results of an election is a grave threat to the very fabric of our democracy" doesn't apply when a desperate Democrat does it.
People are seeing through the BS in increasing numbers, hence the shift in party registration. Let's keep it going!
