Rep. Eric Swalwell Trips All Over Dem Lawfare While Getting Triggered About DOJ Probe of Letitia James

Several years worth of Democrat screeching that "no one is above the law" while they were trying to put Donald Trump beneath the law is aging quite badly these days.

Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell loved getting in on the "no one is above the law" action (ask him why he got booted off the House Intelligence Committee), as he proved repeatedly in the past:

Fast forward to 2025 and Donald Trump's second term in the Oval Office, and the old saying "ain't no fun when the rabbit got the gun" comes to mind.

The Democrat Attorney General of New York is now under investigation for mortgage fraud -- and if true it would be actual fraud and not the invented kind of non-fraud "fraud" they got Trump on:

How are you enjoying this reckoning, Letitia?

The Department of Justice has opened a criminal investigation into New York Attorney General Letitia James, Fox News has learned.

Separately, the Washington Post reported that a grand jury in the Eastern District of Virginia sent out subpoenas related to accusations that James misrepresented a single-family home in Virginia as her primary residence to obtain more favorable loan terms.

The DOJ and FBI declined to comment on the matter.

Swalwell is among Dems who have switched from "no one is above the law" to "democracy will die unless Democrats aren't above the law":

Going after his political enemies? Where would Trump have ever gotten such a crazy idea!?

Swalwell applauded when his side went after Trump for trumped-up reasons:

Is Swalwell blatantly shameless or just an idiot? A little of both is also a possibility.

The only reply Swalwell should get to his complaints about this is "no one is above the law." Ditto for all the other Democrats whining about their side being held accountable.

If Swalwell and the Dems want to know more about how their lawfare backfired they should watch our new documentary:
