Hakeem Jeffries Short-Circuited When Asked About Gov. Newsom's Comments About Men in Women's Sports

Twitchy

During an interview with Charlie Kirk this week, California Gov. Gavin Newsom made it clear that he's planning to run for president in 2028 because he tried to make some distance from the level of crazy in his party after a question about keeping men from competing in women's sports. Watch:

First of all, yeah, Hair Gel Gavin is definitely going to try and run for president, and I'll bet everybody a dinner at French Laundry Newsom's going to start taking fake positions on certain issues after he gets done looking at swing state polling in a couple of years. Then he'll have a skate park filled in with sand just for old time's sake.

The Democrats can't recognize "inflection points," they can only try to hide their true beliefs when the time is close to an election.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries was asked about Newsom's answer (or non-answer as it were) today and he short circuited briefly and then gave an answer that makes no sense:

Watching the Dems try to dial back the lunacy as the next presidential election approaches will be a thing to behold. That is, if they even try to dial it back in.

The Democrats seem determined to die on the "20" side of the hill on these 80-20 issues.

Jeffries turned into Kamala Harris there for a few seconds.
