NY Times Condemns Trump WH for Denying AP a Right That's 'Enshrined in the Constitution'

meme

Despite having been caught lying and helping spread the Left's propaganda repeatedly over these last few years, the level of arrogance in the field of legacy "journalism" remains as high as ever -- way higher than the public's trust of their profession.

The latest cause of DC media hyperventilation is the Trump press office barring Associated Press reporters from having access to the White House briefing room or seats on Air Force One.

The AP refuses to use the term "Gulf of America" at the request of the Trump team because apparently they think it would be caving into their journalistic principles. By the way, the AP doesn't have those same principles when covering certain other countries:

Shocker.

The White House Correspondents Association joined the AP in writing strongly worded statements while wrapping themselves in a Constitution they don't seem to understand, and the New York Times has joined in:

Hold on, I'm going to go look for "all media outlets have a right enshrined herein guaranteeing them a seat in the White House briefing room."

Nope, didn't find anything.

Speaking of "reporters doing their jobs," that's the problem. Too many of them believe their "jobs" are to be stenographers for Democrats and act as mouthpieces for the Left's preferred narratives.

The AP and other media outlets will be even less relevant soon because the USAID well is running dry. The media likes to point to the Constitution but, really, how would the Founders feel about the government giving millions of dollars to the people who report on what the government's doing?

Yeah, it might be a tie. But the regime media will disappear long before the rest of us do.

So many of these "journalists" had their ability to be introspective surgically removed decades ago.

One more thing about the media calling this "censorship." How many of these same people applauded when social media platforms removed the New York Post for reporting a factual story about Hunter Biden? These people love censorship, but only if it goes in one direction.
