We all remember the infamous letter that was signed by over 50 former intelligence community officials saying that stories about Hunter Biden's laptop and its contents had all the earmarkings of a "Russian disinformation campaign."
The letter was made public shortly before the 2020 election as a way to do damage control for the Biden campaign all while social media companies did their part to keep the TRUE story about Hunter's laptop from being spread around.
As it turned out, of course, the "misinformation campaign" call was coming from inside the Democrat house and the letter and accompanying efforts to censor anybody sharing the story were essentially election interference.
Former congressman, CIA Director, and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta is one of the former intel officials who signed the letter. Does Panetta regret putting his signature on it? Of course not. Hey, the letter accomplished its ultimate goal, which was to help carry Biden into the White House.

After several news organizations authenticated the laptop's contents, CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins asked the ex-Obama official Monday night whether he wished he never signed the letter "given what we know now."
"No, not at all," Panetta told Collins. "I signed that letter for one reason, which was to make the American people aware that the Russians deliberately were engaged in a disinformation campaign in the United States and trying to impact on our election and trying to impact on our ability to have free and fair elections. That's why I signed that letter."
Oh bulls**t! They all knew why they were signing the letter, and any accusations of a "misinformation campaign" are 100 percent pure projection.
