The media misinformation machine was churning at record speed yesterday after the indictment against Donald Trump was unsealed and NBC News helped spread the lie that the charges include conspiracy. That “fake news” spread like wildfire only to leave many lefties feeling bluer than usual when they realized the reality is that no, there isn’t a conspiracy charge.
Speaking of spreading lies, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow didn’t want to show Trump’s speech last night because “there’s a cost to us as a news organization of knowingly broadcasting untrue things”:
