Tom Elliott's mega-thread takes a blowtorch to MSNBC analyst's 'name the lie' challenge

On Bill Maher’s show on Friday, MSNBC’s John Heilemann challenged Russell Brand to give an example of a time any host on that cable net pushed something that was false, which ended up being a bad idea:
