President Biden had a meeting with some CEOs today as part of a continued push for his “Build Back Brok…”… er, “Build Back Better” agenda:
This afternoon, I’m meeting with CEOs of electric companies to discuss the need for my Build Back Better Agenda — which includes the largest investment to combat climate change in U.S. history. It’ll lower energy costs, create good-paying jobs, and build a clean energy future.

Tune in as I meet with CEOs of electric utilities to discuss my Build Back Better Agenda. https://t.co/oUIoLLJDlO

And during the meeting nobody can say that “safety” protocols weren’t in place, at least as far as keeping people away from Biden goes:

Inside this event in the state dining room, Covid protocol included clusters of masked executives, a potus-only water glass with a little lid, and “no dinner” for the executives, the president joked. pic.twitter.com/AMfstrU23c

A “POTUS-only water glass with a little lid”? Like a sippy cup? How cute.
We are ruled by the insane. https://t.co/vfMrWiYyMU

They just can’t let it go https://t.co/BIOZkvNFsm

No they can’t.
Awful optics. Biden is vaccinated and boosted. If he's so frail that a breakthrough Covid-19 case represents a threat to his life, the public should know. Otherwise, I wish the White House would model a return to normality. Everyone is vaccinated and tested in the room, yes? https://t.co/Y8AMWtbtQw

It is hard not to conclude from this photo that the President of the United States has gone insane. https://t.co/8MPoScxOSk

Just do a zoom next time and save the embarrassing optics https://t.co/PUEAszxtEd

They just can’t help themselves.
