As you know, the Biden administration will be ordering travel restrictions to the U.S. from several countries:
The @WHO has identified a new COVID variant which is spreading through Southern Africa. As a precautionary measure until we have more information, I am ordering air travel restrictions from South Africa and seven other countries.

Biden said the travel restrictions will go into effect on Monday:
The White House is adding new restrictions on air travel from eight countries starting Monday in response to the newly named Omicron strain of the coronavirus. @gabegutierrez takes a deeper look. https://t.co/FP1iNhUPTt

He was late shutting down travel for Delta too. Other countries shut down in March. Biden’s order started in April.

Well, at least if the variant does make its way into the U.S. Biden can say it wasn’t really his decision.
Didn't realize "adults back in charge" meant government by assisted living staff.

Biden's medical team must have also told him the virus doesn't spread on weekends. https://t.co/XN6JsXlK9x
