After some economists predicted as many as a million jobs would be added in April, the jobs report showed only about a quarter of that amount, as well as an uptick in the unemployment rate:

And of course Democrats could be expected to use that as justification to print more money and pump it into the economy:
Biden & Dems will use this in an attempt to justify why even more money needs to be sent out. #DefinitionOfInsanity https://t.co/SV0l3h4agl

Yep, right on cue, the White House said that more of what caused the problem needs to be done:
The White House believes today's job reports illustrates the importance of providing robust unemployment support with millions of Americans still out of work, a senior administration official says

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said something similar:
Pelosi on jobs report: "“The evidence is clear that the economy demands urgent action.”

For Democrats, no matter what happens shows a need for the federal government to spend more money:
"Let’s double down on what’s creating the problem, I’m sure that’ll fix it!" https://t.co/Wa6Dury4MZ

There’s that definition of insanity again!
Reminder that many advocates of Keynesian stimulus use a non-falsifiable framework:
-Economy responds well? "See, it worked and we should do more!"
-Economy doesn't respond? "We obviously didn't spend enough and we should do more!"
Their answer is always more cowbell. https://t.co/PcEX8A4GIq

Which shows just how incompetent this administration is at recognizing the disaster they are just beginning to foist upon us. And, all the statist sycophants will dance and rejoice all the way to the impending economic destruction, because at least the mean tweets have stopped. https://t.co/2YWtGEpzZp

Our White House is celebrating a horrible jobs report. Let that sink in. https://t.co/dkDXVTpZ0n
