Earlier today we told you about a moment that happened on CNN that was so ridiculous we thought the screenshot must have been photoshopped, but nope — it was the real deal:
Brian Stelter calls on Fox News hosts to share their vaccine selfies or get vaccinated on-air https://t.co/B1V2kuXEj0
— Twitchy Team (@TwitchyTeam) April 12, 2021
And doubling down, CNN’s Brian Stelter wanted Fox News hosts to know that he’s displeased they’re not being more public about any vaccinations they’re getting:
A Fox writer asked me to comment for a story mocking me. I replied, "As I said on air: Why hasn't Fox shown live on-air vaccinations like other networks have? Why haven't the morning and evening hosts shared their vaccination experiences with the viewers? Maybe you can find out."
— Brian Stelter (@brianstelter) April 12, 2021
As expected, Fox left my Qs out of the resulting story. I ended the email by saying, in vain, "Please do report out why Fox's biggest stars aren't taking a simple step to encourage public health. I look forward to reading."

Then, right on cue came possibly the least self-aware tweet of all time from an employee of CNN:
Does Fox News cover, you know, news? Or are they just a media criticism shop? https://t.co/qrB1tL3SeQ
— Chris Cillizza (@ChrisCillizza) April 12, 2021
Oh my. Seriously?
Either Chris Cillizza has just taken a job somewhere besides CNN…or this is the most un-self-aware tweet in the history of this platform.
There is no third option. https://t.co/ynvKXDo83I
— Bill Palmer (@BillPalmer23) April 12, 2021
Imagine having this level of a lack of self awareness. https://t.co/h3JNbtZWeb

This level of self-awareness is pathetic. https://t.co/q62h0Z3Noa

The lack of self awareness in this tweet is astonishing https://t.co/6nX1Ym7ciF
— Jimmy (@jimluskk) April 12, 2021
We know there’s not an ounce of self-awareness in any of CNN’s hosts, but this is a bit much even for them.
Put this is a museum https://t.co/ClyVkseSJf

It never ceases to amaze me how masterful Chris Cillizza is at getting owned with his awful takes. https://t.co/jD8mr2G9qm

This is one of the all time great pot-kettle moments, like first ballot hall of fame level stuff
— Vegito Main Lives Matter (@J_Weenus) April 12, 2021
Hi Chris, who is the Brett Baier of CNN?

You mean like this joker ? pic.twitter.com/tKDRFNij49

You’re kidding right? The whole point of CNN these days is to rail on Fox News… https://t.co/EcVPZ4kyQh

Chris, just in case you don't know what Brian does at CNN, which incidentally I don't blame you for not knowing, he gets paid to watch and criticize Fox News Channel. https://t.co/aYnnDxDERE

We’ve often said that it’s apparent the people at CNN are too busy watching Fox News to know what’s happening on their own comedy network.
