It looks like Joe Biden is going to take Michael Bloomberg’s idea of giving a coronavirus address to the nation and run with it on a regular basis:
Joe Biden is planning a regular shadow briefing on coronavirus to start as early as Monday to show how he would handle the crisis and address what he calls the lies and failures of President Trumphttps://t.co/pS0aQxTlVj

Thanks, but no thanks Joe.
Completely unhelpful and destined only to sow division.
He isn’t privy to any of the information the government has, he doesn’t have to actually be accountable for anything he says he “would” hypothetically do. This is just heckling from the sidelines in a time of true crisis. https://t.co/PQSRtTaT8Z

“Destined only to sow division” is without a doubt the entire intent.
Really? Which health experts from the CDC will be appearing with him? https://t.co/MfLyGpaQNj

How sad, petty, and useless.

How is this not getting torn to pieces as a dangerous and outrageous idea https://t.co/lJV6v0lCTF

Honest question; how would you have reported this if it was Mitt Romney doing this to Barack Obama?
— Pam D (@lifebythecreek) March 21, 2020
We have a guess!
Remember the condemnation @MittRomney faced for speaking about the terrorist attack in Benghazi before Obama, who was taking his time, did? “We have one President at a time,” they cried. @JoeBiden shouldn’t do this, it’s a nakedly political idea and pretty sick. https://t.co/R1gdpRmaDX

If a republican candidate did this in a crisis in real time to a sitting democrat, I would never vote for that candidate.
This is wildly wrong. It’s not good politics, it’s not good policy, it’s not good for the country.
And in the end, it won’t help Biden to be in TV more. https://t.co/4ZIBoF0NSE

I fully expect these “shadow” Biden briefings to be plagiarized versions of what @realDonaldTrump announced the day prior. #coronavirus #WarRoomPandemic https://t.co/6rWpTXVUMB

Is he going to criticize Trump's handling and then plagiarize his ideas again? pic.twitter.com/2jawyklGlU

Will each shadow briefing end this way?
This is utter cruelty. #WhereIsJoe? pic.twitter.com/eROCFrXdZ0
