This morning, President Trump called Fox News and ended up spending nearly an hour talking, and obviously a lot of the focus was on the Democrats’ impeachment effort. Trump said he’d welcome a trial in the Senate where people like Adam Schiff could be made to testify under oath:
"I want a trial," said Pres Trump of defending himself in the Senate if the House reports Articles of Impeachment. And more than anyone else, he says he wants to be able to question @RepAdamSchiff about the impeachment hearings. Calls him "a nut job" who made up allegations.

At the same time, Pres Trump says "I think its very hard for them to impeach you if they have absolutely nothing." But would also want to question the whistleblower at a Senate trial. "I know exactly who he is," says @POTUS of the whistleblower. Calls him "a political operative."

The president also had choice words for Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi:
"They look like fools over the last five days," says Pres Trump of the impeachment hearings. In a live phone interview on @foxandfriends, he said "Adam Schiff is a sick puppy." Also expects scandalous report on FISA application to spy on his 2016 campaign.
