Howard Dean's constitutional hot take about SCOTUS and 'illegitimate' justices has been ruled 'beyond parody'

The Democrats have been off and running with the part of a recent New York Times story that caused them to be smelling blood in the water again in their quest to get Brett Kavanaugh off the Supreme Court. The part of the Times story where the editor’s note/clarification appears is being completely ignored because it shoots down their new narrative. Howard Dean appears to be among those pushing only the first part of the story, and the former Vermont governor and presidential candidate says there are multiple SCOTUS justices who are “illegitimate” and could be “rotated” vollyball-style, or something:

And what constitutes “illegitimate”? When Democrats like Howard Dean say so, apparently.
