After President Trump used a joke animation based on an older Time Magazine cover to troll the libs, the magazine thought it was a good idea to remind everybody that it wasn’t the real deal. However, this Time cover is the real deal:
“He’s not pivoting,” said Jared Kushner. “The President is who he is and doesn’t pretend to be anything else.” Our cover story on Trump's wager that his instincts and ability to excite his base will be enough to keep the White House. https://t.co/U6HYfpiLRA pic.twitter.com/g0Hrjasdl4

And journo Howard Fineman does NOT like it:
As a reporter/writer who spent 30 years at the (great) old Newsweek, and who admired @TIME, I’ve gotta say that this image is an outrage. I know that Henry Luce worshipped the Great Man Theory, but when he put a dictator on the cover, he didn’t visually kiss his ass. pic.twitter.com/SOL1EftnG5
