'Glad you're safe': Jim Acosta promotes speech on 'risks for journalists covering the Trump presidency' (and people have thoughts)

As many are aware, CNN’s intrepid WH Resistance journo Jim Acosta has spent the last couple of weeks promoting his new book. Tonight he’ll deliver a speech on the theme of his book, dangers-be-damned:

Looking forward to speaking with the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia later today about the challenges and risks for journalists covering the Trump presidency as I lay out in my new book “The Enemy of the People.” https://t.co/MJJEvDDoWy

He’s just a “straight down the middle” objective reporter, y’all…

Unbiased journalist. ? https://t.co/y2q6howEtv

Just in case anyone thought you weren't a totally biased journalist..this book removes all doubt.

Thanks Jim for confirming what we all knew.

Hopefully CNN has hired a security team to keep Jim safe during his book promotion tour all across Trump’s America.

Risks? Oh please. You’re not tweeting from a jail cell. You whine daily cuz you’ve made yourself the “story”; a horrible look for a reporter/journalist.

Just glad youre safe Jim.

As are we.

It’s so dangerous that you can broadcast your daily agenda to millions of people and you’ll be completely safe lol

“The risks.” Go report in Myanmar, hero. Go cover a war zone.

It’s been a fairly funny year so far:

Well, almost as hilarious maybe.
