By now everybody knows that CNN’s “Reliable Sources” is the most comically ironic show title in all of cable news, and another source of amusement has been spotted. This time it’s about “The Handmaid’s Tale”:

That was then…
We are not "a few steps from The Handmaids Tale." I don't think this kind of fear-mongering helps anybody. https://t.co/EmxDNNeeML

And this is now…
?: Ann Dowd, who plays Aunt Lydia on @HandmaidsOnHulu, will join me on Sunday's @ReliableSources, along with executive producer Warren Littlefield… 11am ET on @cnn

FICTION FIRST! Brian Stelter bringing "Handmaid's Tale" stars on his "journalism" show. "I'm interested in what Dowd and Littlefield think about the comparisons between the dystopian world of the show and the real-life arguments about banning abortion."

Hopefully when Stelter asks the show’s stars about it he can preface the question by reminding them not to fear monger.
Lmao!!
