The controversy over Tucker Carlson’s comments from many years ago have generated plenty of takes, but few hotter than Newsweek’s:
When you absolutely must have a Tucker Carlson story but there’s really not anything new to say. pic.twitter.com/6Get8OnRZj

Maybe that doesn’t quite say what Newsweek thinks it does:

Right?
This story angle says less to me about how bad the things Tucker said were than it does how great the First Amendment is https://t.co/uotQpLVOuF

If this headline were written by a sane person:
"Tucker Carlson Lives In A Country That Doesn't Have Shitty Laws" https://t.co/qGqHppMT5I
— Mister Neil (@neilsama) March 13, 2019
There's a famous war that was fought which allows him to say what he wants in this country. https://t.co/uTT4d1KAkB

That was one hot take that spontaneously combusted!
But Newsweek’s not alone:
Another one lmao. https://t.co/s1giGkwtyP pic.twitter.com/N1ouuuekxn

Now that’s a take.

And your point is? He also would not have 2nd amendment rights if he were Canadian or British. He lives in America, dumbasses. Enough with the liberal hypotheticals to advance the Democrat agenda.#LiberalismIsAMentalDisorder https://t.co/pe0HbrK2Vy

We have a new appreciation for the First Amendment thanks to that kind of “journalism.”
