'Ouch!!' Gladys Knight gets a STANDING O after dropping a mic on Don Lemon's attempt to shame her for Nat'l Anthem at #SBLIII

Singing legend Gladys Knight performed the National Anthem at the Super Bowl last night, but it didn’t come without CNN’s Don Lemon questioning her decision to do so. Knight stopped the obvious attempt to shame her for performing the Anthem dead in its tracks:

She's lived the progress all Americans should all be proud of and understands how far we still have to go. The national anthem of the United States represents both sides of story.
