Brian Stelter has demonstrated repeatedly that he’s often glued to Fox News, and last night was no different. Something that appeared on-screen in reference to Elizabeth Warren caught the attention of CNN’s media reporter:

Many thought “racial slur” was a bit much, especially considering the fact that the subject was Elizabeth Warren:
This is beyond embarrassing. Pocahontas is a Disney character, not a racial slur.
The main problem with this is that it ruins the actual joke, which should be Fauxahontas. https://t.co/2dMeLN5tR8

Racial slur? Come on @brianstelter. If anyone is denigrating native American culture it's Elizabeth Warren. #humorlessness https://t.co/G87FtYjU4y

Racial Slur? Lol

Well, maybe 1/1024th of a “racial slur”?
Racial slurs sure aren't what they used to be. Unless you're a hall monitor desperate for some reason to attack Fox News. https://t.co/oDFR6cw7u2

Greg Gutfeld referring to Stelter as “the nation’s hall monitor” remains the most spot-on thing ever.
