Nikki Haley will be stepping down as U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. soon, and President Trump has nominated Haley’s replacement. Some are referring to Heather Nauert as only a “Fox News host”:
BREAKING: Trump picks State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert as next UN ambassador, sources say https://t.co/C35emv88TZ pic.twitter.com/aSoMcaTHeA

Until 2017, Nauert was a Fox & Friends host. Which I guess is a logical background for a Trump admin spokesperson, but seems like a weird fit for U.N. Ambassador. https://t.co/DblUD1Q7Cw

Politico’s DC cybersecurity reporter longed for the days of what he considered somebody with a really impressive resume to be the U.N. ambassador:
Obama's second UN ambassador
Samantha Power was a former war correspondent, Pulitzer Prize-winning author, Harvard professor, and senior NSC staffer.Elections have consequences, folks. https://t.co/4P2dDu1ptM

Maybe someday instead of comparing resumes more people will be interested in looking at results:
And all of her credentials didn’t prevent Putin from taking Crimea or blowing passenger jets out of the sky nor did it stop Assad from gassing kids while her boss filmed a TV show in Alaska with a selfie stick, you absolute clown of a journalist.

Power was at the UN when they allowed Assad and Putin to begin a genocide in Syria that continues to this day, when they refused to take any action as Russian invaded Ukraine, and she defended our abandonment of Israel at the UN.
I'll take the former FNC host. Thanks. https://t.co/swjOHjQgE0

But… her RESUME!
She was a complete disaster.

And an avowed leftist who, like Obama, favored the Islamists in Iran.

She also did nothing but hashtag her way through 500,000 dead Syrians https://t.co/w4IMkFuWC4

#SamanthaPower also served during two of the biggest mass slaughters in modern history
Rwanda & Syria

Failed miserably to even slow themI'm pretty sure @HeatherNauert will top that stellar record https://t.co/t8oUvQttEj

Half a million Syrians were unavailable for comment on this sick Twitter burn. https://t.co/bnJg6yz80d

Sam Power was an unmitigated disaster, on top of displaying the kind of soul-selling hypocrisy that encapsulates everything that’s wrong with politics and nothing that’s right. Feel free to educate yourself: https://t.co/cdNktSMZQR https://t.co/ulvy3wB083
— Seth Mandel (@SethAMandel) December 7, 2018
Yes, @SamanthaJPower was all those things.
She was also a failure as UN ambassador, keeping silent as the Obama administration acquiesced in #genocide — a betrayal of the moral imperative she had claimed to care about most. https://t.co/KjAHchYUaH

Below is a perfect encapsulation of why so many people despise elites: one elite lauding the false accomplishments of another. Samantha Power is a vacuous careerist who gladly helped Obama admin violate her allegedly most inviolable values. But….Pulitzer! Harvard! Swoon! https://t.co/XWfHwLnsiT

They’re so predictable.
