House Republicans previously said they planned to subpoena former James Comey, and according to the former FBI director, it’s been received — and he has one demand:
Happy Thanksgiving. Got a subpoena from House Republicans. I’m still happy to sit in the light and answer all questions. But I will resist a “closed door” thing because I’ve seen enough of their selective leaking and distortion. Let’s have a hearing and invite everyone to see.

Bonus anti-Trump points for getting the word “resist” in there. But will the House GOP agree to this?
Comey tells House GOP he will only testify in public https://t.co/cw2DnMWPmG

Why would Comey only want a public hearing? People have some thoughts on that:
If he’s asking for an open hearing then trust me it’s not for the benefit of the people it’s for the benefit of James Comey

Last time you testified in public you repeatedly stated you could not answer in this setting. So my question is why not testify behind close doors so you are able to answer all questions?

Comey’s fears of “leaks” also sparked some eye rolls:
<cough cough>

Well, he does know a thing or two about "selective leaking" #FBI https://t.co/eFU9DSZVRl

Comey slamming “leaks” is some kind of hilarious.
