Former Obama Car Czar agrees 'poor ballot design' in south Florida is screwing over Dems (and people have thoughts)

The problems in Broward County, Florida and elsewhere continue, and former Obama Car Czar Steve Rattner agrees with a theory from FiveThirtyEight with what’s keeping Dems from winning (including Al Gore):

Poor ballot design in Palm Beach County cost Gore the presidency in 2000 and now similar incompetence may cost Nelson his Senate seat. How hard can it be to design a ballot voters understand? https://t.co/yVaT41S2hc

Can the same ballot be biased against one party over the other?

Apparently they are ballots that only Broward voters "don't understand." https://t.co/FvrKN85ZeQ

Go figure!

If you aren't bright enough to find the clearly visible Senate voting box which looks exactly like every other one

Your vote will not be missed https://t.co/5acZfXu9Yg

Funny that it seems to be only the Democrats who can’t seem to understand the ballots… what a surprise…

With all due respect, if people cannot figure out where to vote on that ballot, they should not vote.

Would not surprise me if folks missed the Senate race on that ballot. I suspect a large chunk of people don't pay attention to the instructions ? https://t.co/jplF00jQpi

Maybe some voters have never heard the old saying “when all else fails, read the directions.”
