As we told you earlier, Attorney General Jeff Sessions submitted his resignation, reportedly at the request of President Trump. Former Attorney General Eric Holder thought that news provided the perfect opportunity to lecture the president about “laws and norms”:
Anyone who attempts to interfere with or obstruct the Mueller inquiry must be held accountable. This is a red line. We are a nation of laws and norms not subject to the self interested actions of one man.

The “red line” warning coming from an Obama administration cabinet member is a bonus.
As you might have guessed, people have some thoughts, especially considering the source:
You were held in contempt of Congress for obstructing investigations into your illegal scheme to run guns to Mexican drug cartels, one of which ended up being used to murder an American border patrol agent. https://t.co/10wVKtm1UM

Well, there’s that.
The president can fire those under his authority, as you well know, Eric. What is illegal is using the FBI to spy on your political opposition and paying for opposition research with Russians through a shady law firm. But I'm sure you know all about that.

That's interesting because implicit in your argument is that Special Counsel Mueller — an executive branch subordinate — isn't accountable to anyone else https://t.co/vgEqxfTj6W

He’s nervous that the police-state Obama administration is going to be exposed. ???? https://t.co/HZWA3zdF1E

Holder’s lack of self-awareness was exposed long ago.
