Democrat Stacey Abrams is running neck-and-neck against Republican Brian Kemp in the Georgia gubernatorial race. Not unlike what the Dems did when Jon Ossoff was running for a House seat (bringing in Alyssa Milano for help), they’ve called in some assistance from Hollywood. This time it’s Will Ferrell who’s rallying support for Abrams in the state:
Will Ferrell has arrived in Atlanta to fire up young #GaDems! ?
We’ve got just 11 days to #GetItDone for @staceyabrams, @SarahRiggsAmico and Dems across the state.

Will Ferrell is in Georgia for gov candidate @staceyabrams. His wife Viveca Paulin-Ferrell told me recently why they planned to go door-to-door in this close race. "You never know in Hollywood if it helps or hurts but we’re trying get out the vote."https://t.co/b1F9AeLsM3

Judging from what happened with Ossoff in the GA06 special election, calling in help from Hollywood certainly didn’t help in that race.
Cause Hollywood has such a good rep of turning out the vote. ???? https://t.co/KqAfEmjbo0
