REALLY? SiriusXM's director of progressive programming remembers when media called Tea Party 'patriots' (and not 'mobs')

The use of the word “mob” to describe leftist “in your face” style protests has triggered many in the media, and some are even trying to equate that with the Tea Party that began shortly after Obama took office:

Many have concluded that comparing the Tea Party to what we’re seeing these days aren’t remotely comparable:

When did the Tea Party surround the homes of politicians, chase people through the streets and out of restaurants, assault bystanders, climb on statues, destroy protest locations with trash, fill hallways and intimidate Senators, try to break down doors or interrupt hearings? https://t.co/Mc8uYj4tn6

I'm old enough to remember that the Tea Party didn't break shit, chase people out of restaurants, scream, shit on police cars, hit people with pad locks, break stuff, and hurt people.

And YOUR media STILL called them an "angry mob" https://t.co/DtK0m4b9wW

Apparently not old enough to know the difference between Constitutionally protected peaceful dissent and unlawful mob violence. https://t.co/vNxGCxNjM1

The Trump presidency has affected a lot of liberals’ ability to remember what really happened between 2009-2016.
