A friend of Christine Blasey Ford will reportedly tell investigators what she’s previously claimed, which is that she doesn’t remember what’s been alleged against Brett Kavanagh, but that she believes her friend when she says it happened.

With that in mind, here’s CNN’s angle:
Christine Blasey Ford's friend is not refuting allegation, will cooperate with FBI, lawyer sayshttps://t.co/UE2SSItsaM

See what they did there? Journalism!
"Not refuting" doesn't mean much when she doesn't remember the incident at all. It's Ford's allegation to prove.

How dishonest, did @CNN really leave out the entire first half of the letter saying she doesn’t know Kavanaugh and has never been at a party with him?
— Normandy G (@NormandyG) September 29, 2018
I see what you did there. Her best friend can't corroborate the allegations, so you point out the she didn't refute the story. That's clever! https://t.co/hofzMXdxPr

THIS. Is CNN.
Her story has not changed at all. Dishonest headline. pic.twitter.com/tGkOKgUWe3

CNN probably never even considered going with something like “Ford’s friend can’t corroborate the allegation” as a headline.
And they wonder why there is distrust of the media.. https://t.co/RQtw9MlJO8

You’re not even trying to be honest at this point huh… ??♂️

Its CNN, what did you expect
