MSNBC producer Kyle Griffin’s tweet yesterday about the supposed hacking of a state election website got retweeted over 6,500 times:

Wow, that’s some story! However, it’s not true, as Griffin noted about six hours later:

And as usual, guess which one got retweeted a whole lot more.

According to NBC News’ Chuck Todd, Fox News is the reason people distrust the media.
