Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation is taking a new turn, according to a New York Times report:
Robert Mueller is scrutinizing President Trump's tweets and negative statements about Jeff Sessions and James Comey, the latest addition to a range of actions he is investigating as a possible obstruction case https://t.co/xWqy5zWWAM

Mueller is examining whether President Trump's actions add up to attempts to obstruct the investigation by intimidating witnesses. He wants to question the president about his tweets. https://t.co/IIWxCbkrKr

Privately, some Trump lawyers have expressed concern that Mueller will stitch together several episodes, encounters and pieces of evidence, like tweets, to build a case that Trump embarked on a broad effort to interfere with the investigation, NYT reports. https://t.co/kxeWA4bLyS

One thing’s for sure: The Resistance has been given an enthusiasm boost:
Wouldn’t it be deliciously ironic if the Twitter presidency was ended by a tweet? https://t.co/ojaTUV3U7V

i dont think in a million years that mueller will be the end of trump but my god it would be poetic for trump to fall through tweets https://t.co/LxCJ8ACciK

?LOL?
Team??Mueller is investigating @realDonaldTrump’s tweets, as part of his #ObstructionOfJustice probe.
Several of Trump’s tweets about @Comey & Sessions came as Trump also privately pressured them — both key witnesses — to drop the probe.?https://t.co/Wl1O82LBas

He isn't stitching together anything. Mueller is painstakingly putting together a case so tight that these guys can't slip through. What they have discovered is so broad in scope and so ugly, they want to do it just so and just right. To nail the bastards (and there are many).

This is potentially a huge deal. Trump’s tweets have always struck me as a very public form of witness tampering, the words of a guy accustomed to mobster codes of bravado where loud actions/threats are used to scare people into backing off any investigation. https://t.co/SszmcOmA0n

I’ve been waiting for this. #MuellerIsComing https://t.co/VW0oWbKnfE

I certainly hope so. Here's an idea for Trump: stop tweeting. Or better yet, keep tweeting and make it easier for Mueller.
