SHAMELESS: Peter Strzok claims anti-Trump texts reflect his 'deep patriotism,' Dems cheer [video]

FBI agent Peter Strzok is being questioned by members of the House Judiciary and Oversight committees. Well, some of the members. Others are trying to keep questions from being asked:

Anyone think Democrats look a little desperate to make sure Peter Strzok doesn't have to answer any questions? Wonder what they fear.

— Kimberley Strassel (@KimStrassel) July 12, 2018

Wow! Are you watching this? Democrats in a wholesale panic to keep Strzok from testifying. Shameful but not surprising.

— Neal Boortz (@Talkmaster) July 12, 2018

Saying he’s acting under FBI orders, Strzok stonewalls questions about when the FBI Trump-Russian investigation actually began. Democrats repeatedly interject frivolous points of order.

And when Strzok did speak defiantly, Dems loved it:

Democrats just literally cheered for Peter Strzok. Amazing.

Did I just see the Democrats applaud Peter Strzok's testimony?

— Scott W. Graves (@ScottWGraves) July 12, 2018

Yes, it’s true — Strzok explaining his anti-Trump texts had Dems cheering the bias:

#Strzok says his texts were based in "deep patriotism."

FBI Agent Peter Strzok applauded by Democratic members of House Oversight Committee after passionate response to Rep. Trey Gowdy, saying Gowdy's accusation "deeply corrodes what the FBI is in American society, the effectiveness of their mission, and it is deeply destructive." pic.twitter.com/m2Hbc9kPPQ

Not everybody’s buying Strzok’s attempt to turn the tables.

Amazing, but not surprising. The left hates America. They want to see people, like Strzok, who tried to influence an election, succeed!

Of coarse, Democrats are on his side. So disgusting.

This is what the Democrats will run on going forward. Anything and anyone who defys Trump. Good luck with that, because it isn't working. https://t.co/AYQFWfw8af

Democrats literally applaud #strzok, are you f’ing kidding me, they applaud his bias ? pic.twitter.com/SIFGm2SwbV

Watching the democrats obstruct oversight & protect a corrupt federal employee gives me even more hope they are done as a party.
