Blue check Pakistani writer says Hollywood owes apologies for anti-Muslim 'propaganda' in movies like 'Zero Dark Thirty' and 'Munich'

After ABC apologized for the plot in an episode of “Quantico,” Pakistani writer and journalist Fatima Bhutto said Hollywood’s apologies need to go further:

Super. We’ll be here waiting for an apology from Homeland, 24, Tyrant, Rambo, Zero Dark Thirty, American Sniper, Munich… https://t.co/f98FEiyWvl

I did a talk last year on Hollywood and Propaganda, specifically how Muslims are treated in film https://t.co/JxPvujZSw2

Hollywood should apologize for those portrayals? Really?

um…Munich? You mean the movie about how Palestinian terrorists in real life murdered 11 Israeli athletes? That actually happened. The apology is owed the dead, not you. https://t.co/ulVKcnNk6Z
