The arrest of Imran Awan, former IT aide to many congressional Democrats, has led to scrutiny of Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz and others. However, President Trump’s tweet about the situation had Democrat Sen. Chris Murphy sounding an alarm:
Our Justice Department must not let Awan & Debbie Wasserman Schultz off the hook. The Democrat I.T. scandal is a key to much of the corruption we see today. They want to make a “plea deal” to hide what is on their Server. Where is Server? Really bad!

Just FYI Republicans, when the United States is a banana republic in 10 years, how do you think you’ll feel about being silent when our President told his DoJ to start arresting his political opponents? https://t.co/CiyiImMw2N

Murphy really tripped over Obama with that one:
Wait, I'm getting whiplash here from "nobody is above the law" to "how dare he demand that the law apply to leading Democrats". https://t.co/2SYudxjB4s

You were silent when Obama used the IRS, DOJ & FBI against political enemies, weren't you?
FYI.

Terrified, because the next step will be having the IRS set on the President's political opponents — wait. Just a second. I'm getting something from the booth … yes, it appears that's already happened. Let's hear from Jim about the NBA Finals! https://t.co/WoPZkwyALM

Senator Murphy; are you suggesting allowing foreign nationals unauthorized access to congressional computers is all hunky dory?

Guy who wants to disarm Americans simultaneously worries about tyranny because he's an idiot. @dkahanerules https://t.co/WBjoYeGTXT
