Senator Kamala Harris, a possible contender for the 2020 Democrat nomination and Big Government proponent, has a big problem with recent events:
When disaster hits anywhere in America, our government has a basic responsibility to commit the resources necessary to save lives, accurately assess damage, and rebuild communities. We now know that after Hurricane Maria, our government failed Puerto Rico at every level.

Here’s the shorter version:
"The government failed. What we need is more government." https://t.co/b7SQsTCV9U

Harris’ argument just collapsed under its own weight, not that she’ll see that.
Aren’t you the Government?

Our government does so many things it should not be involved in that it fails in the things it is supposed to be doing.

Really, one of the seriously underreported stories is the massive failure of the publicly-owned Puerto Rican electricity system and the reasons for those failures. Journos are too busy trying to incite anger at Trump instead.
