Broward County Sheriff deputies, in a vote through their union, have expressed a big lack of confidence in Sheriff Scott Israel:

Union gives Broward County sheriff a vote of no confidence and will ask the Florida governor to remove him over his handling of the Parkland shooting https://t.co/5OIFyFLhaH pic.twitter.com/7tqLaRdvuv

Wow, maybe CNN should have Scott Israel back on to blame the NRA for more of his own failings:
CNN should host another town hall with @browardsheriff. https://t.co/qt53vJUgQz

It sure was nice of @CNN and @jaketapper to get ahead of the curve (and the facts) and give this guy an hour to get up on live tv and spout his lies and nonsense.
Well job all around, there. https://t.co/4TkEddLWKM

While CNN ponders the idea of a follow-up town hall, Sheriff Israel’s office is defiant:

Wow, really!?
You are a real piece of sh** aren’t you? Blaming your lack of law-enforcement abilities, for political gain no less, on the greed of your deputies is certainly something we’ve come to expect from you. Save a little face and quit https://t.co/AuNSJgbdLP

He’s definitely not going away quietly.
Aren't democrats supposed to be pro union?
— Matthew (@tweetingmatty) April 26, 2018
He really should have a shred of dignity and resign. https://t.co/cu5itlLkIP

One thing’s totally clear: Whatever happens or happened, the Broward County sheriff won’t hold himself accountable for any of it.

What’s sad is that doesn’t remotely sound outside the realm of possibility.
