As Twitchy told you earlier, DICK’s Sporting Goods announced that they would be raising the age to purchase firearms at their stores and would no longer sell what the company called in its press release “assault-style” guns (which they stopped selling years ago). Remember when CNN’s Chris Cillizza insisted that journalists “don’t take sides”? Maybe it depends on what your definition of “journalist” is:
Politicians may lack courage to stand up to NRA. But Dick’s Sporting Goods, USA’s largest sporting goods retailer, will stop selling assault-style weapons and raise minimum age for all gun sales to 21.

Just wow.
CNN hosts are not taking sides on this issue at all. https://t.co/m63cNp8WRY

Not AT ALL! *Eye roll*
What does the NRA have to do with any of this??
— KarlDuncanPhoto (@karlschwoch) February 28, 2018
Same as the @NRA had to do with #ParklandShooting pic.twitter.com/kP8EtcvMaE

Dick's Sporting Goods is free to sell or not sell whatever the hell it wants. Dick's Sporting Goods is not repealing the 2nd Amendment.

Only our nation's cable news hosts are brave enough to blame people for things they didn't do.

What's Erin Burnett's roll at CNN supposed to be exactly? Journalist? Commentator? https://t.co/tcW1CwmUvr

Burnett’s tweet was “journalist-style” reporting.
