According to the Mueller indictments, Russian-backed groups used social media to meddle in the 2016 election. Some of that information was unwittingly shared online by some Americans, and an intrepid reporter from CNN was on it — and by “on it” we mean “harassing a woman at her home”:
A Florida woman who ran a Trump supporters page that unwittingly promoted a Russian-coordinated event on Facebook says she doesn’t believe that she was influenced by Kremlin-linked trolls https://t.co/DmgDRFRwyn pic.twitter.com/OAz5julCyA

Really, CNN?

Great question! Also, CNN triggered an avalanche of backlash for that report that’s supposed to pass for “journalism” in 2018:
Despicable: CNN hunts down an ordinary citizen at home, accusing her of aiding Russia because she promoted an event on FB that Mueller says Russians organized.
Go ask Michael Moore why he did that. Ask Joy Reid why Russian bots RT her so much. Challenge power. This is bullying https://t.co/pLbRGRuS4I

This lady rightly puts this CNN reporter in his place. "GTFO," is her main message. Maybe she should show up at CNN HQ and ask why they covered a Kremlin-sponsored rally in NYC. https://t.co/x9NCAxAWsI

Seriously, @CNN ? This is your smoking gun? Really? The key to why Hillary Clinton lost to Trump right here in this video ??? https://t.co/Z9LtN3qPvh

CNN tracks down random people, accuses them of being Russian dupes because they were members of a Facebook group, and then acts flabbergasted that there's animosity toward the media https://t.co/9GtgCX55oU

This country has lost its collective mind. CNN went to a woman's house and told her she was collaborating with "the Russians" because she shared some stuff on Facebook.
We're not talking about actual political issues; we're talking about *Facebook posts*.https://t.co/6DbSAKncag

CNN should be ashamed. This is not journalism this is abuse. https://t.co/7lNSD3WQLd

Harassing people who may have inadvertently forwarded a piece of Russian garbage
You are pathetic https://t.co/VhCzq225ad

Next week, my elderly uncle will be interviewed about a fraudulent chain email he sent out that baselessly claimed you would encounter misfortune if you didn't forward it to 5 friends. https://t.co/ONNkUY2p2L
