Judging by the looks on many Democrat faces during the State of the Union address last night, they weren’t happy with pretty much anything President Trump said. However, with 2018 elections just around the corner, they weren’t in line with what the majority of viewers thought about the speech, according to a CBS News poll:
8 in 10 Americans who watched Pres. Trump's #SOTU address felt he was trying to unite the country, rather than divide it. Two-thirds said the speech made them feel proud, though just a third said it made them feel safer, CBS News poll finds https://t.co/SRoN9NzmKE pic.twitter.com/bvyG3myhgt

Been saying for a while that in 2018 we needed to move from the "politics of anger," to the politics of the possible & progress. @realDonaldTrump did that last night. #SOTU https://t.co/vqTUfvNYUx
