Confirmed: CNN's Brian Stelter is really REALLY excited by idea of Oprah running for prez [video]

As Twitchy told you yesterday, CNN’s Brian Stelter caused some “apple or banana” confusion after using a quote from Gayle King saying Oprah Winfrey is NOT considering running for president as confirmation that Oprah’s considering running for president.

One thing’s for sure: Stelter is about as intrigued by the idea of Winfrey running for president as anybody can possibly get:

Seems like members of the media want Oprah to run for president more than members of the public.

Would probably be a ratings boom, just like they had during the 2016 campaign.https://t.co/btOETy4jcA

The Free Beacon put it this way:

CNN Is in Love With Oprah 2020 https://t.co/CAxsxad3Do pic.twitter.com/Om8MffA6db

— Free Beacon (@FreeBeacon) January 10, 2018

Stelter thought that could have been more accurately headlined:

An accurate headline would say "CNN Is Reporting On The Possibility Of Oprah 2020" https://t.co/QbGSxq2w65

Opinions vary:

He said she was "downright presidential," she has "tremendous star power" and a "deep well of charisma." She's a "worldwide icon." But nah, that's just "reporting on the possibility." https://t.co/agM7ujxiEu
