Democrats cheered after Doug Jones narrowly defeated Republican Roy Moore in the Alabama special election for U.S. Senate. However, Jones’ appearance on CNN yesterday might pour some cold water over that celebration:
Sen.-elect Doug Jones of Alabama doesn’t join the several Senate Democrats calling for President Trump to step down: “I think we need to move on and not get distracted by those issues … I don’t think the President ought to resign right now” #CNNSOTU https://t.co/EAY9mhL1QI

Uh oh, could the honeymoon be over already?
How soon do you think the Democrats will turn on Doug Jones for not jumping on their "get rid of Trump" bandwagon?

Jones’ comments about Trump did indeed cause major concern in anti-Trump circles:
What does he mean “don’t get distracted” ? Our country is in a desperate situation and it is because of Potus.

Looking like Jones could be a one term senator.
