On the Late Show, Stephen Colbert broke the news to his audience that Donald Trump had fired FBI Director James Comey, and their reaction was not what he hoped for. Watch:

Seriously this is too funny. Colbert-bots still think of Comey as the bad guy so their first reaction was to cheer. https://t.co/lFlofUOlSk

Dems have gone back and forth on Comey so much even Colbert’s fans are unsure how they’re supposed to react on any given day.
COLBERT: Trump fired Comey
NY AUDIENCE: YEAAAAAAAAAAAH
COLBERT: No guys, this is bad. Here's some awful jokes to explain why.
AUDIENCE: Boo? https://t.co/5wqNWuUuWr— Josh Jordan (@NumbersMuncher) May 10, 2017

You actually chastised the crowd for giving the reaction you've trained into them for the past 6 months.
