Linda Sarsour's 'war on terror' hot take impresses Van Jones (but not many others)

According to Afghan officials, the MOAB strike this week killed dozens of ISIS fighters:

Afghan officials say 36 ISIS fighters and no civilians were killed after U.S. used "mother of all bombs" on Thurs. https://t.co/akSuYuiW6q pic.twitter.com/NonfeX1L8J

However, Women’s March leader Linda Sarsour believes killing terrorists with bombs is counterproductive:

The war on terror has created more terrorists. That's the sad reality. We can't bomb away a barbaric ideology.

Van Jones applauded:

Preach, @lsarsour ! https://t.co/deZKkciKK3

— Van Jones (@VanJones68) April 14, 2017

A few dozen ISIS militants unavailable for comment. Also, some flaws were spotted in Sarsour and Jones’ mindset:

Didn't we bomb away nazis? Seemed to have done something

Total blithering unfounded nonsense that can't possibly be backed up. Terrorists saved or created? Fake sentiment. https://t.co/XXpshDnsZI

So basically she's telling us to not do anything that people who will hate us no matter what we do hate us more than they already hate us. https://t.co/Zu0mKaFAqG

Worked with Japanese Imperialism. Bombed it away pretty effectively. https://t.co/0HPhM5VmFO

Correct: you can't bomb away a barbaric ideology but you can sure bomb away the barbarians. How many Nazi regimes still thrive? https://t.co/ePbmeaMICx

Sarsour would prefer you invite them in, support & fund them, and give them a media platform to push Sharia law in the U.S. like she has https://t.co/GwhwQXWfcd

The United States of America proved to Nazi Germany that you can, in fact https://t.co/Bn6CpyBoV0
