Predictably, Lady Gaga’s halftime performance didn’t go far enough on the politics for some:

Lady Gaga misses her Super Bowl moment to say something profound https://t.co/C0NqXI0hkn pic.twitter.com/oKv1l0t12m

Gaga didn’t go full Meryl Streep last night, and that was bound to disappoint some.

She said God bless America. One nation under God with liberty and justice for all.

More profound than cheap leftist talking points. ?? https://t.co/mlC1DQx5qR

You mean she chose to perform instead of complain? To unite America at one of its proudest events instead of divide it? Our media is a joke. https://t.co/XtMAAyE4NU

No. Lady Gaga realized the American people have no tolerance for being preached to and wisely chose to stick with her best talents. https://t.co/RpRnjnKh6s

Incredibly thankful that Gaga chose unity over political outrage & further division. ??❤️ https://t.co/mbJ75HD0U8

You missed it then – her entire performance was a profound statement of inclusion.

maybe because she wanted americans to just have fun and relax for 13 minutes. And. Have you seen the opening? Statement enough.
