Hillary Clinton recently said that half of the people who support Donald Trump for president belong in a “basket of deplorables,” and her spokesman doubled down on the comment last night.
Trump fired back on Twitter this morning:
Wow, Hillary Clinton was SO INSULTING to my supporters, millions of amazing, hard working people. I think it will cost her at the Polls!

Hillary’s “basket of deplorables” insult could mean that Clinton isn’t qualified to be president, according to… Hillary?
The last thing we need is a president who brings more name-calling and temper tantrums to Washington.

Yet name-calling is okay when speaking to your liberal elitist friends in NYC. #BasketOfDeplorables #NeverHillary https://t.co/JFrWbOCscY
